I am seeking re-election for a third term to the Arizona House of Representatives, and I request your support to continue on a road for a positive change for our community.

I have been and continue to be dedicated to addressing the most critical issues in District 16: creating community involvement, improving educational standards, enhancing and expanding health care, and harnessing business support. During my terms in the State House, "The People's House," I have introduced more than 100 pieces of legislation – issues very important to the citizens of District 16, such as: AIDS drug assistance, Family Leave insurance, full-day kindergarten, educational mismanagement intervention, animal-cruelty law enforcement and hazardous substance requirement on businesses in south Phoenix.

One of the enduring legacies of a democracy is the critical role the people play in its operation, and voting is an important responsibility. Our nation's founders could never have envisioned the scope and breadth of the opportunities the Internet would provide to a participatory democracy. Our system of government has remained strong throughout history because it is based on the fair and democratic election of our representatives.
